Jose L. Barrera was born on August 1, 1931 in Mexico. He married at the age of 28 to our Mother, Elia Moncada. He is survived by his four children, Raquel and husband Joe, Sylvia and husband Sergio, Paula Modesto and Jose Jr.; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He worked as a craneman for Inland Steel in East Chicago, Indiana for 30 ½ years. His free time was spent watching baseball. His favorite team was the Chicago Cubs.
He left us to go to heaven due to a heart condition on April 15, 2010. We will miss him dearly. We love you PA, you will always be in our hearts.
