Jane was born March 13, 1944 in Pueblo, Colorado to the late Ernest and Charlotte Cowlishaw.
She was a loving wife, mother and “mamaw”. Jane married Paul Litteral Sr. on January 6, 1962 and the couple had four precious children together.
Jane’s life was full and well-lived which revolved around her husband, children and grandchildren. In her spare time she loved to knit, sew and crochet. She made many clothes, Halloween costumes, afghans, stockings, and scarfs for her children and grandchildren. Her baking skills were also very well known, especially her fudge, pecan pies and Christmas cookies.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Ernest and Charlotte Cowlishaw, her sister; Charlotte-Ann Ramsey and her brother; James “Jimmy” Cowlishaw.
Jane is survived by her beloved husband; Paul Litteral, and four children; Shari (Rod) Denman, Vicki (Tom) Daley, Paul (Christine) Litteral Jr and Mark Litteral. Also mourning are her cherished grandchildren; Chad, Jennifer, Jeff, Eric, Paul III, Emily, Clayton and Bradley, as well as great-grandchildren; Lillian, Kendra, Logan, Jacob, Wyatt, Morgan, Dallas and Alyvia. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law Audrey Litteral and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the nursing staff from Cypress Healthcare (Formerly known as Regent), as well as the nursing staff from Heart to Heart. They would like to especially thank Nurse Sandy and Molly for the compassionate care provided to Jane throughout her final stages of Alzheimer’s.
