Gordon was a long time resident of Austin and a McCallum High School Alum. He was a proud business owner and committed supporter of several charities such as The Dell Children's Hospital, St. Jude, and the Make a Wish Foundation.
Gordon is predeceased by his wife, Carolyn Diane Daniel, and daughter Holly Carol Daniel.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Bixler; grandsons, Luke Bixler and Blake Daniel; brothers, Don and Glenn Daniel; several cousins and many friends and loved ones.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from four o’clock until six o’clock in the afternoon, on Sunday, the 24th of February 2013, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas.
A graveside service will be conducted at one o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 25th of February 2013, at Austin Memorial Park under the direction of Cook-Walden Funeral Home.
