George Hernandez Vasquez, 77, of Cedar Creek, Texas passed away, at home, surrounded by his family on January 10th, 2017. George was born on February 17th, in Brawley, California to Angel and Maria Luz Vasquez.
George joined the Air Force as a young man, during his 30 year Air Force career, he proudly served his country, including two tours served in Vietnam.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy and his four children: Yvonne and her partner, Josh, Jorge and his wife, Ashley, Elena and her husband, Rene, Anthony and his wife, Ashley. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Anna Marie, Leonardo and Elijah.
His family and friends will miss George's integrity, love and kindness and helping us all learn the true meaning of always putting your best foot forward.
Sunday, January 15, 2017- Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, at the Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home.
Monday, January 16, 2017- Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am in Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home.
