Born in Austin on January 9, 1925, Freeman "Fred" Lambeck lived to be 83 years. He is known as a military veteran, having served in the Navy during WWII. He is known for his career at Southwestern Bell, which spanned 40 dedicated and loyal years. But most importantly he was known as a central figure in a family who loved and respected him as a man who helped to shape our lives. He is survived by his wife, Maggie; his son, Freeman Lambeck Jr.; granddaughters, Meagan and Joy, nieces, Ginny, Marie, and Gilda. We all love you Fred and cherish the memories you helped create. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, April 18, 2008 at Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum with interment to follow.
