Elsa Gabriela Lorenzo

Elsa Gabriela was born on October 17th, 1971 in Mexico City to parents Sergio Lorenzo and Elsa M.

She graduated from Panama University in 2010 with a degree in Communications and Public Relations.

In 2014, she moved to Austin and accepted a position as a publisher at Pearson.

Gabriela was an intelligent, happy, and beautiful woman. She found love and married Yassine in Morocco in 2017.

Gabriela was a social and active woman who was deeply involved in education for the majority of her life. She enjoyed teaching, writing, and painting. Her family and friends will always remember her as a person whose smile would always light up any room she walked into.

She is survived by her husband, Yassine of Morocco; her parents, Elsie and Sergio of Mexico City; and her brother, Sergio of Mexico City.

A visitation for Elsa will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar, Austin, TX 78752, followed by a funeral liturgy from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
