Eloise Noles, 94, of Fort Worth, died January 29, 2011. She was born September 28, 1916 in Calvert TX, to Joseph H. and Gladys Ford Noles. One of 5 children, she attended school in Calvert and graduated from Calvert High School as valedictorian of her class. She attended Port Arthur College in Port Arthur, TX. She married Raymond H. Richardson of Easterly, TX on September 21, 1946, and they made their home in Tyler and Temple, before moving to Austin. Eloise worked for the Texas Legislature, followed by the Internal Revenue Service. She and Ray were co-owners of Ideal Stamp Company in Austin. She was an active member of Crestview Baptist Church while living in Austin, and Travis Avenue Baptist Church after moving to Fort Worth. She was preceded in death in 1996 by her husband, Raymond H. Richardson, her sisters, Florine Ayars and Melba Buck, her brothers, George and Joe Noles, and several cousins. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Fredrickson and husband, Buddy, of Fort Worth; two grandchildren, Tonja Fredrickson and Eric Fredrickson, also of Fort Worth. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening on Tuesday, the 1st of February 2011, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. A funeral service will be conducted at one o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, the 2nd of February, in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow in Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.
