Mrs. Taylor was a graduate of Shipley School, Bryn Mawr, PA and a member of Park Central Presbyterian Church and its Circle O and Tuesday Book Club. She was formerly active in Syracuse Dispensary and Syracuse Boys Club. She was a lifetime member of the Onondaga Golf and Country Club.
Mrs. Taylor was predeceased by her husband of over 60 years Herbert W. Taylor, Jr., her son H. William Taylor III, and her brothers John B. Emack Jr. and James H. Emack.
She is survived by her two daughters, Betsy Taylor Jackson of Needham, MA and Ann Taylor Brown of Austin, TX; her daughter-in-law, Michael Taylor Kubec of Port Townsend, WA; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother, Edward F. Emack of Pittsburgh, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, February 25, 2012 at The Summit at Westlake Hills, 1034 Liberty Park Drive with the Reverend Gay Jennings officiating. There will be no calling hours.
