I worked for Walker 35 years ago and he was a fun yet great boss. We had recently reconnected after my mother passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. We hung out at his pool, went to many brunches, watched college football together and he even taught me his famous cheesecake recipe. Walker was a good friend to me during a sensitive time and I am eternally grateful for the time we spent together. His loss came as a shock and he will be missed.

I knew Walker for many years, he was the best at family law.  He represented me and my younger sister who is a person with IDD.  

I will miss him dearly.

Sympathy and support to all the family and friends.We all will miss our year of the Tiger Walker.

Difficult to accept that Walker has gone!   It was stunning to learn this.     Ever since we met, half my life ago, he has been in it to my joy.    To look up , way up, and see Walker staring down with a grin  always activated anticipation because I knew he was about to break out with a remark to make me laugh, or make me wonder.        Walker, so much fun,  such a great dancer, thinker, golf lesson buddy, cheesecake concocter, host, drink mixer, joker, teaser, friend, lawyer, questioner, and uniquely wonderful guy .    Hard, because sad to say, but here it is:   Really started missing you Walker the moment I knew you were not going to be out there, in reach.     I am grateful I knew you and  happy I thought to thank you, when I did, for all the wonderful memories and experiences you generously made possible.        My heart goes out to Nancy and the rest of your family,  I can only imagine.              

I am so sorry and shocked to hear of Walker’s passing. He was one of a kind and such a unique individual. We worked together in County Judge Mike Renfro’s Office. I’m not sure if Walker work or played harder, but we got the job done and laughed through it all! He was definitely the king of pranks and daily jokes. Love love loved the dude!! Technically, Walker and I were law school classmates, but the relationship that mattered was as teammates on an intramural basketball team.  We did not see each other all that often after law school, but when we did at a meeting or event, he never introduced me as a legal colleague but as “his point guard.” 

As others have noted, he was always quick with a joke, many of which could be repeated in polite company.  He was a character in the best sense of the word and will be missed by a broad and eclectic group of friends and colleagues.

I am so sorry for your loss Nancy, my condolences to you and your family. I worked for Walker for many years once upon a time and still remember his great sense of humor and generosity. Will miss him dearly.

Devestated by the loss of such a treasured friend and client of 23 years.  Walker missed his usual every other Saturday appointment with me Oct 22 and I was worried and went by his house and saw his car.  I did a welfare check and got a call back that he had passed on Oct 13th.  I will so miss his witty banter and jokes at our Saturday morning meet ups and the get to gethers at Matts El Rancho.  Always a good time!  He was his usual self at his Saturday appointment on October 8th and can't believe he passed just 5 days later.  Our birthdays were 2 days apart and we shared our love for our kitties!  Truely a one of a kind and a fixture in my life that I will sorely miss.  My heart felt condolences to Nancy and the Arenson family and to all his many loved friends.  Gone too soon.  Laters Walker.

So many memories of working for Walker--and all good ones.  He was an incredible boss, full of high expectations, compassion and humor in equal measure.  I'll always remember his treasure trove of jokes, neatly organized but ever at the ready-- such a different side of him than the exacting professional demeanor he brought to each and every client.  But more than just a boss, you were also a mentor and a friend.  There really aren't words to express how much you are already being missed.   You will always have a special place in so many hearts, mine included.  Rest in peace, my friend.

Debbie Vogel and I both were stunned and heart broken to see Walker’s obituary that I saw tonight. He and I were still going to Matt’s almost every Friday. We met last 2 Fridays ago and he seemed his usual self, which meant a good time was had by us both. I know you will soon contact Deb to go over his current files.
