David Duane Ragland, age 65, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013 surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on September 17, 1948 to Jim Ivy Ragland and Dorothy McCarty Ragland in Austin, Texas. He owned "D Ragland Deliveries" in Austin, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his father; and brother, Ronnie Ragland.
David is survived by Kay Dobbins; mother, Dorothy Daugherty; son, Robert "Scott" Ragland and Linda Garza; daughters, Shelli Thompson, Tracy Holland and husband Ryan; grandchildren, Ashli and fiancé Devin, Brittani, Hali, Bethani, Gage, Kaitlynn; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Holli; many step-children and step-grandchildren; and his four legged family members, Sassy, Suzi and Oreo.
David influenced and led many in our family. He loved to take the family out to eat and fishing trips. He was our Rock!
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Lytton Spring Cemetery, Lytton Springs, Texas.
