The world lost a beloved mother, Cynthia Ann Guajardo Solis, born in Austin, Texas, on September 6, 1966, to Leopoldo (Polo) and Santos (Sandy) Guajardo. She departed her loving family on January 28, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Catrino (Pepo) Contreras; grandmother, Santos Cantu Guajardo; her brother, James C. Guajardo; grandfather, Santiago Guajardo; grandmother, Fermina (Memo) Riojas Contreras; her mother, Santos (Sandy) C. Guajardo and her daddy, Leopoldo (Polo) C. Guajardo.
Cynthia is survived by her brother, Michael C. Guajardo; her sister, Gina Lynn Lozada (Alfredo); her daughters, Raquel Solis (Kent), Roxanne Solis (Ulises), Destiny Ramirez (Freddy); her grandchildren, Juliana and Jose (JoJo) Castro and Kayla Avila. She raised her children and grandchildren with love and devotion. She loved her niece, little Cindy (Eric) Hernandez; her nephew, Stephen James Guajardo; great-niece, Amarissa and great-nephews, Anthony and Adrian(AJ); numerous nieces and nephews, she loved her Alvarado family and many many friends.
Her hobbies included being outdoors, going fishing, going to the beach, and soaking in the sun. Cynthia’s crowning achievement in life was her family. She was a fulltime homemaker who lovingly cared for her family every minute of every day. Her legacy of love will live on forever.
Visitation 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue.
