Clare Stanfield

Clare Stanfield, 46 years old of Austin, Texas was called home on May 12, 2010. She was born on September 11, 1963. She took much joy in helping others. She gave freely of her time to multiple organizations including SVDP at St Paul's Catholic Church and organizing fundraising events for Boy Scout Troop 2001. Her greatest joy in life was her family, friends and her work at Blanton and Associates. Clare took great pride in her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her happiest days were spent being surrounded by all of her family. She is survived by her wonderful husband and best friend of 15 years, Rick Stanfield; daughter, Erica Sifuentes; sons, Brandon Bryan and Ricky Stanfield Jr.; her grand-babies, Kaitlyn, Joey and Myles. Clare's parents, Joe and Angela Garcia meant the world to her as did her siblings, Randy Garcia and wife Lynda, Sandra Moreno, Phillip Garcia and wife Tina, and her youngest sister, Amanda Hernandez. Clare was also blessed with numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She will long be remembered for her kind heart, contagious smile, her laugh, and her strength in faith. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Sunday, May 16, 2010 with recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress. Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated at 1:30 pm on Monday, May 17, 2010 at St. Paul Catholic Church with Reverend Barry Cabell, CSC officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Clare's wishes would have been for donations to be made to St. Paul Catholic Church ATTN: SVDP or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
