Chris was such a gentle soul. Honestly, I never heard him say a bad word about anyone. He always had an eager smile and a warm hug at the ready.  You always felt like he was truly happy to see you and that his wanting to catch up with you was genuine and came from the heart. I am grateful that we had a funny little talk about cars and in engaged in a conversation about the importance of family when we last spoke. I will miss seeing his sweet face at family functions  and I mourn what could have been for him.  Rest in peace Chris. 

Christopher  was a role model to my kids.  No matter if you squabbled with your family members you still tell them you love them.  He was a hugger and always had a smile on his face.  Will miss him always.  

The majority of my childhood was spent hanging out with Chris, his cousins Andrew and John and our friends Roni and Michael. We were the Deborah street gang as my dad called us. Every single weekend we were at one or the others house and we all looked forward to it. We played toys, rode bikes, watched the same movies over and over, played basketball, made comic books oh and had pickle parties down at Nanans and Pawpaws house. These are all memories that I will cherish forever. I am so thankful for the years that we had together and will remember him forever. Your legacy will live on Chris. Love you friend

I want to share my sympathy with all who knew and loved Chris. I only met him a few times but know his father, grandfather and uncle well.  I know how much Chris meant to them, particularly to his Dad.  May each of you find comfort in your memories of Chris. With much sympathy, Wilda

Such a sad loss. You were always a great friend to my sister, myself and family. I remember you always coming by the house walking your pit when she was a puppy. You’d stop and talk for hours. Always kind and good hearted. It’s been a few years since I’ve seen you last but from what I heard you were doing well and looking forward to your future with your daughter. Watch over her from heaven, you will be missed. RIP my friend. 

It was only a short time, but I feel very blessed to have meet and known Christopher. He always brought a smile to my face and never failed to make me laugh. I will cherish my memories with him and my thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Hey this is jake umm I can’t tell you a specific time with Chris because there are so many I loved Chris I loved playing games with Chris I loved seeing him when I got to see Chris is was a surprise for me I looked up to Chris, he felt more than a cousin, Chris and I had a bond that could not be shaken Chris and I loved to hangout I loved when I got to hear very good things about Chris it made me look up to him more and more, Chris is a OG Chris is authentic Chris cannot be replaced Chris was one of my hero’s Chris loved many and many and more loved Chris This isn’t about how Chris died this is about how Chris lives on.

I am very sorry for the loss of a good person. I have many grade school memories with Chris, he was a very funny person to be around in school. I wish I could and would have stayed in contact with him and many others after school! I was very sadden to hear about this and I will pray for him to Rest In Peace and pray for his family to have strength to move forward with life and keep Chris alive through all the wonderful memories!

Chris,  Johnson Family, and Friends, 

I am deeply sorry for the untimely passing of Christopher.  As other's have mentioned, it has been difficult trying to process this unfortunate tragedy.  I will miss my friend dearly and cherish the numerous memories we acquired over the past 26 years.  Chris has left a lasting impression on my family and forever will be remembered as one of the most loyalist friends I've ever had.  His passing fortifies the saying, " one day you're here, and the next day you're gone."  
Had I known that Thursday was going to be the last time I'd see you and converse with you, we would have spent hours and hours talking and catching up.  I'm so proud of the man you had transformed into for the sake of your daughter.  Your achievements would have been endless.  Although sadden I know you are amongst some of the greatest company and were welcomed by your grandparent's and great aunt's warm embrace.   We will miss you dearly, but know that you will still remain with us. May your spirit and memory live on forever

My dear friend, how I wish this was all a dream. I remember looking forward to every class we had together because I knew the convos would be deep and the laughter heavy!! I also remember holding you in my arms as you grieved the loss of your precious grandmother. We both knew that there was an instinctual loyalty our friendship always had. Always positive, always hopeful. My husband and kids will also miss you dearly!! Jason didn't have many friends here but had great comfort in knowing you where one of the homies that naturally adopted him as their own. You will be deeply missed in so many ways. Until I see you again, please look over each of us, and keep an apron ready for when it's my time to come whip together your favorite dishes, just like old times!! 

Chris, I have no words to describe your loss of life here on Earth. But I take comfort knowing you will be here in spirit watching over your family n your daughter. I will be here for your beloved Mother, Aunt Debbie and your cousins that loved you dearly. You were bigger than life itself. You've earned your wings so fly high n soar.  Rest in Peace.
