Carl is survived by his wife, Barbara Ellen (Underwood) Sandberg; children, James Thomas and Brook Sandberg, Chaleece and Jeremy Travis, Lindsay and Scooter McCullough and Joshua Carl and Elisha Sandberg; and by his five grandsons, Kipton John Bosworth, Hunter James Sandberg, Jett McConkie Sandberg, Daxton Maxwell Sandberg and Jackson Chase McCullough.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
Honoring Carl as honorary pallbearers will be his five grandsons.
