Bruce is survived by his daughter Stephanie Brie Lutringer and Fiancé Jason Owings; Son Keaton Hunter Lutringer and Wife Lillie Ann Lutringer; Brother Gabriel Wayne Lutringer; Sister Carol Paulette Riley; Brother Andrew Ray Lutringer; Four grandchildren and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Bruce graduated from Calhoun High School prior to Joining the United States Navy where he served as an Aviation Ordnance man upon his honorably discharged, Bruce attended Southwest Texas State University where he would meet his beloved wife Lana and earned a BA in Criminal Justice. After spending time in San Marcos and then Mesquite, they would decide to raise a family in Austin, TX. Bruce worked for the Austin Police Department as a Sergeant in the Motors Department; he retired December 3, 2011.
Bruce loved the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing; he enjoyed spending time with family and watching his four grandchildren grow.
Bruce was preceded in death by his beloved wife Lana Jean Lutringer; Parents Andrew William and Rosalie Betty Scotka Lutringer; Father-in-Law Joe Bob Lawrence Jr.; Brother Clay David Lutringer; Mark Logan and spouse Mary Kay Lutringer.
A visitation for Retired Sgt. Bruce Clark Lutringer will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Service. 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas 78752.
