He was born to Robert and Shirley Bonner in Riverdale, Georgia on September 27, 1973.
He was a 1992 graduate of Hyde Park Baptist High School and attended The University of Texas. All through his life he touched the people he met and made friends with anyone he encountered.
Being an avid gamer, he worked for Origin Systems Inc., Electronic Arts, Bioware and NCSoft as a QA tester and desktop support analyst. He loved to spend time with friends and family, telling stories, playing games and dreaming of things to come. He was a great father, son, brother and friend.
He was a gentle-man that would drop everything he was doing to help anyone in need, no matter what it involved. He was always quick to make you laugh and listen to your troubles. Everyone who met Brett could honestly say they’ve never met a kinder soul. He will truly be missed.
He is preceded in passing by his loving mother Shirley. He is survived by his father Robert, his brother Chad and sister in-law, Joyce, former wife Kaye, and his beautiful daughter Heather.
Visitation will be held for family and friends, Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held, Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, followed by a reception.
