Barbara Rippey Dixon

Barbara grew up and started her family marrying Ronald Dixon in Redondo Beach, CA and then moving to Berkeley, CA for school for Ronald then they moved to Bakersfield, CA. She received two masters and taught first grade and worked as a school counselor at a junior high school until she retired.

Barbara and Ron moved to Georgetown, TX after they both retired to enjoy life and spend time with family and friends.

Barbara and Ron raised two daughters, Leslie Ellis and Louise Dixon.

Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her children Leslie and her husband Kenny, Louise, Annie, Bodi, Willow, Meadow, her sisters Fonda and her husband Roy, Catherine and her son Brian, Nieces and nephews Pam and Jim, Laurie and Norman, Richard, Grant and Nancy and Jeffrey and Betty and Kari and extended family.

There will be a private service at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m. on Monday May 6, 2019. The location is 6300 William Cannon Drive, Austin, Texas.
