Annie Beatrice Perez

Annie Beatrice Perez, age 72 of Austin, went to be with our Lord on January 3, 2015. She was born Annie Beatrice Briones on May 7, 1942 in Austin, Texas to parents Luis Castro and Antonia (Annie) Briones. Annie had two sisters, Alice Briones Gloria, Louisa Briones Martinez, four brothers; Benito Jr. Saldana, John Robert (Johnny) Saldana, Francisco Saldana, and Samuel Saldana. Annie grew up in Austin, Texas. She met Pedro Y. Perez and they married in December 1959. They are survived by their three daughters, Beki Hammontree, Fela Brannen and Sara Wersinger; son in laws, Rick Hammontree, Mark Brannen and Will Wersinger Jr. She is also survived by three grandchildren; Lindsey Hammontree and husband Greg Geist, Devin Brannen, Hunter Hammontree and wife Maegan Hammontree and two great grandchildren, Ireland Geist and Charlotte Hammontree. She always left an impression in the people she surrounded. Annie loved dancing, socializing and riding her bike to stay active. She was a kind, loving, and forgiving with a very generous heart. Annie lived life to the fullest to the very end. You will be forever missed.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Weed-Corley-Fish South Congress Chapel, 2620 S. Congress Ave.
