Anne Curran, 51, of Austin, TX, passed away of renal cancer on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Hospice Austin's Christopher House. She was born in Waukon, IA to James and Norma (Fossum) Curran of Lansing, IA. She is survived and sorely missed by 11 brothers and sisters: Ginny (John) Glisczinski, Tom, Bill, Kathy Protsman, Mary Ellen, Jim (Debbie), John, Jane, Dan, Margaret (Don) Richardson, and Chris (Andy) Nagus.
For the past 32 years she was passionately dedicated to the lives of children as a child care provider and 21 years of her service was at CDC at Congregation Beth Israel. She impacted the lives of many children.
She will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. She was admired and loved greatly by her many extended family members and all dear friends.
Her humble and sweet personality will be missed immensely by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held at Congregation Beth Israel at 7pm on Sunday, May 24th, 2013. In October 2013, there will be a burial service and celebration of Anne in Lansing, Iowa. Details will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that charitable donations be given in Anne's honor to Hospice Austin's Christopher House or a charity of your choice.
