Anna V. Malone formally of Austin, Texas went to be with Our Lord on April 22, 2004 just a month away from her 104thd birthday. Miss Malone was born in Cleburne, Texas, May 22, 1900. Ann attended TLU in Seguin in the early 1900s and worked for Scarboroughs Department Store in Austin, as well as the University of Texas Co-op. Ann loved music and to play the piano. She joins her father, George T. Malone; mother, Pauline Zivley Malone; sisters, Frances, Mary, Lena and brothers, Henry and George. Her niece, Theresa Kenny survives her as does great nephews, Matthew and John Bloomingdale; great nieces, Melba and Leticia Bloomingdal and Therese Garza; great-great nephews, Alfred B. Cortinas Jr., Javier Jacob Garza, Cliff, Brad, John Jr., Patrick, Robert and Adam Bloomingdale and great-great-great nieces, Leia Belen & Lilliana Theresa Cortinas. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 23rd at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2004 at Oakwood Cemetery Annex.
