Our Beloved Mother, Andrea C. Molina 95, of Austin, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, February 11, 2015. She was born on November 30, 1919 in Lytton Springs, Texas to Ynocencio Castillo and Josefa Briones Castillo.
Blessed was our loving Mother, Grandmother, Tia, and friend. She was so full of life and joy and was always giving a helping hand to others. Andrea was our loving provider and the Lord has extended His arms for her to come home and to rest in the heavenly skies. Her suffering is behind her now and we can only imagine the overwhelming joy she is feeling now.
Andrea was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Molina; daughter, Yolanda Molina; son, Victor Molina; grandchildren, Liza and Eric Molina; and great-grandson, Victor Ray Martinez. She will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Lucy Garcia, Sandy Riojas, Delores Robles and husband, Edwin; 7grandchildren, Fred Garcia, Desiree, Carlos, and Michael Riojas, Jesse Jr., Ann and Adam Barron; 23 great-grandchildren, Vanessa, Victoria, Valerie, Nicole, Natille, Eliazabeth, Jesse Glen, Steven, Candace, Paul, Jonathan, Lil Delores, David, Carlos III, Mateo, Isebella, Evan, Arianna, Anessa, Celine, Celeste, Lindan, and Adrian Molina; 1 great-great-granddaughter, Makayla Espino; numerous other relatives; and a host of friends.
Andrea was a silk finisher for 50 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and eating enchiladas. December was her favorite time of the year as she loved making her tamales. Andrea will be missed but never forgotten.
A million times I've needed you. A million times I've cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life I loved you dearly; in death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place no one else can ever fill. It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone. Part of all of us went with you the day God took you home. Always in our hearts will forever be our loving Mother and Grandmother.
Honoring Andrea as pallbearers will be Michael Riojas, Jesse Glen Barron, Steven Barron, Paul Barron, Jonathan Martinez, Edwin Robles, and Joseph Flores. Honorary pallbearers will be David Martinez and Lindan Flores.
