Alice K. Travis

Alice K Travis, 89, passed away on April 20, 2011 in Gig Harbor, WA after a long illness. Alice lived in Austin, TX most of her life but never regretted moving to Washington in 2010 to be near her great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Walter W. Travis. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Charles Gouge of Gig Harbor, formerly of Austin; grandson, Christopher Gouge of Redmond, WA; granddaughter, Diane Gouge Bartels and her husband, Moritz, of Gig Harbor, WA; two dearly loved great-grandchildren, Marc Philipp Bartels and Anna Claire Bartels. The family would like to thank the MultiCare-Good Samaritan Hospice staff and the loving staff and residents of the Lodge at Mallards Landing in Gig Harbor for their care and support during her illness. Graveside services will be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, the 27th of April 2011, at Austin Memorial Park with Rev. James Denham officiating.
