      I was blessed to of had you as part of my world. Lisa and I became extremely good friends and then I met you. There were an abundance of good times and laughter everytime I saw you. You were like a brother to me and always had my back. You were one of the good guys. You took me to my prom and we had a blast that night I will never forget it. You were there when I bought my first house and there we had tons of good times and made amazing memories. You used to come see me at work and leave me a ridiculously HUGE tip everytime lol. You looked out for Lisa and I when we broke into the bar and club scene you were there for so many of my milestones  growing up. I was 17 when I met you.  I will always remember you for everything you have ever done for me, our friendship we shared, the amazing brother you were to Lisa and Michael, your huge heart, and your infectious smile and blue eyes. I will cherish our memories and you have a special place in my heart. I find comfort knowing you are no longer suffering in your pain, it just wasn’t fare what you had to deal with. 

Until we meet again Stephen 🥰 rest easy.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Steven’s passing. Although it’s been many years since we last saw each other, I hold close many cherished memories of the good times we shared. Steven had an incredible ability to light up any room, and he was always someone you could count on to have your back. Please accept our deepest condolences and sympathies during this difficult time. May his warmth and kindness bring you comfort in the days ahead.

Steve is the reason I bought this tape. I heard the Beastie Boys ' Licensed to Ill' for the first time at his house—I won’t even speculate what year that was, but I’ve continued to listen to it to this day, obviously not by way of cassette tape, although now I wish I kept it.  I remember Steve as a person of contrasts, with a candid nature and a big heart, even if he often showed a tougher side. While our paths mainly crossed through his siblings and our mutual friends, I remember him as a firecracker—fun and exciting. You never knew what was coming next, and you never had to wonder what he was thinking. His spark will never go out!

My sincere condolences on the passing of Steven.  He was a one of a kind gentleman with an incredible heart that would do anything for anyone.  His love for Crystal was evident as they shared a loving friendship and a relationship based on mutual  respect,  kindness, and a love they each deserved to enjoy together.  Steven loved her with his entire world.  I had many laughs with him and enjoyed his quick witted jokes.  He loved his children and his parents and often spoke of them as they were a big part of Steven's world.  Steve you will be missed. Rest easy buddy it won't be the same without you here.

My deepest condolences to all of you. Steve was definitely an individual who brightened up a room with his huge smile and bright eyes.  He was always happy to see you.  He brought so much laughter, often to the point of tears-we were always guessing “what is this guy going to do next?”  May you rest peacefully.  Your stories will continue to live on.

Have very fond memories of Steven at Our Lady of Grace elementary school in grades 4 and 5 especially (before I moved to St Joe’s) and being invited over to your family home to hang out with both Lisa and Steven.  Sending lots of prayers and love to the whole family and praying that he is at peace and remains close in spirit with all his loved ones.  Taya

I only met Steve once. He was honouring a past loved one. I have known Crystal for many years and yet I had never seen her so happy. We had a moment alone and she told me she had never been more in love. She told me so many stories and before I knew it. I loved this man because of how he treated my friend. When we sat down to talk the love and devotion that he had for his people was unbelievably profound. He was a proud man. I am feeling blessed to have met him. Rest easy now young man.

Oh my heart is heavy……..I just loved Steven (my student). 
So enthusiastic about life ……hockey, friendships, music, art &  math. I probably have not seen him in years but always asked about him if I saw students around his age.
