Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on Friday August 31, 2018 at the age of 94. Predeceased by his beloved wife Helen. Stan leaves behind his daughter Norma and son-in-law John, and cherished grandson Bryan and his fiancée Sarah.
Stan will be remembered for his hearty laugh, boundless curiosity and outgoing personality.
Stan’s family wishes to express their utmost gratitude to all the caring Team Members and many friends made in the 6+ years he lived at Hollandview Trail.
A visitation for Stanley will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 2 - 3 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at the Thompson Funeral Home (530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora) at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Stanley's memory may be made to Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation, www.southlakefoundation.ca or to a charity of your choice.
