Jean I'm very sorry to hear of Paul's passing. He was a great friend . I shall miss him but keep the good memories I had of him and you.

Jean hearing the news of Paul's passing not only brought sadness but also loneliness. Even though we had not seen each other for a very long time my memories of when we were younger in our late teens and early twenties are always strong. Paul was one of the best friends anyone could have. I send my deepest sympathy.

Paul's sudden passing is a huge loss for the entire family.  Paul was a very special person to Jaimie, Suzanne and me. Uncle Paul and his resonant laughter  will always be engraved in my heart. I have such fond memories of him spending time with us when we were  children in Aurora and later  me spending time with his children in Montreal. Paul and Jean's house and hearth always welcomed family and friends. Many happy memories.

Life seems so unfair: to have taken you at a time when you should be enjoying life, and your family. I know you wanted to spend your last moments surrounded by your close family. Uncle Paul, you had a very special gift for making people feel so loved and special.  Your wedding to Aunt Jean was one of the most memorable events of my youth.  When I dropped by your house unexpectedly many moons ago to introduce you to Kevin, you took out the juiciest steaks and welcomed us so heartily into your home. On our wedding day, you came down with all the kids and made this event even more memorable. You welcomed everyone to your home during the holidays and shared your stories and memories with us.  And when my mom, Louise, passed away, you were there with us.  You always made time for family.  When I think of you, I will always remember your wonderful laugh, your warmth, and the love that is so much a part of you and the life that you built.  You have passed all these wonderful attributes on to your children, and your wonderful spirit will live on in our memories.
