Loving husband, father, friend and grandfather to three. John Francis was a business man, a war veteran, one of Canada’s finest shoe executives, and most importantly a kind and exceptionally generous soul. There are very few people in this world that leave such a lasting impression on those around them, he enriched many lives: some for a few moments, others for decades and for a few lucky souls an entire lifetime. He may be gone but he will never be forgotten. He gifted each of us with some of his best traits and in his honour we must emulate these traits to the best of our abilities. We must carry forwards the best parts of him in our actions and words. He will be fondly remembered, missed and continually loved by many.
A memorial mass for John will be held Monday, August 26, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 14485 Jane Street, King City.

From Your Loving Grandchildren:
Cheers to a man that treated each and every individual with respect and generosity, a man that loved with whole heart and held nothing back, a man of humour and class, of kindness and love.
Cheers to a man that taught us to work hard, to put our best foot forwards in every challenge that we face, to be our best self as we navigate the difficulties of young adulthood.
Cheers to the man that taught us to be brave, to drive fast cars and to never skip dessert.
Cheers to a war veteran, a respected businessman, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Cheers to a legend.
Those who we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen and unheard always near,
So loved, so missed, so very Dear.
