HARRY LIBBY passed peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Monday, February 15, 2015 following a two-year battle with cancer. He was in his 87th year. Harry was the loving husband of 64 years to Rachel Irene Libby, and devoted Father to Colleen (Ken), Cathy (David), and Harvey (Laura.) He was a loving Grandfather to Ryan, Sean, Kaitlyn, Amanda, Erin (Kip), Connor, Samantha, and adoring Great-Grandfather to Freya. Harry was the second President, and one of the founders of the Aurora Shrine Club.
The family would like to thank the cancer and palliative care units at Southlake Regional Health Centre for their excellent work and attention. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Salvation Army in Harry’s memory.
Harry’s friends and family are invited to join in a Celebration of Life, which will be taking place Friday February 20, 2015 at Park Place Manor, 15055 Yonge St from 7 – 9PM.
