Died peacefully at the age of 91 surrounded by her family at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Tuesday November 5, 2024. Caterina was predeceased by her loving husband of 46 years, Angelo, in 2008 and survived by her children Lawrence (Mary), Mary (Gray) and Rick (Maureen). World's best “Nonna" to her precious grandchildren Robert, Carissa, Caterina, Stefan and Nikolas and Bisnonna to Eleanore, Samantha, Harriet, Noah, Teddy, Charlie and Ellie. Thanks to all family and friends for their help and support, and to the exceptional staff of the Palliative Care Unit.
A Visitation for Rina will be held Monday, November 11, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, ON L4G 6W8. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 14485 Jane Street, King City, ON L7B 1A3. A Graveside Service will occur following Mass at Sacred Heart Cemetery on the West side of Jane Street, South of Sacred Heart Church. A Reception will occur following the Graveside Service in the Hall at Sacred Heart Church.
