Dear Gibbon family,
I'm sure you don't know me . It has been years since I had any contact with Carol Ann. 
We met some 25 or more yrs ago when I needed someone to babysit my youngest son, Paul. 
Carol Ann was like an angel who was there when I needed a loving & caring person to watch over my son. It was only for a brief time but I remember how joyful & loving she was with Paul. I was & am thankful to her for being there for us.
Life went on as it tends to do & we lost contact. 
I don't usually read the obituaries but something or "someone" drew my attention this particular time & I was saddened to read of Carol Ann's passing. 
My deepest condolences to all of you.
I'm certain she is dearly missed by so many.
I am so thankful that she touched my & my son Paul's lives even for such a brief time. 
I remember her joyful face & her laughter whenever I came to pick Paul up after he had spent the day with her.

I love Carol Ann with all of my heart; as did all her immediate family and all of her loved ones.  I have numerous memories of time spent with them. I am enormously saddened by the loss of such an incredible friend of almost 6 decades.  I will miss Carol Ann and her laughter forever.  Our time together was so therapeutic and there will never be another Carol Ann.  My heart goes out especially to Barry and the Girls and the son-in-laws and the 8 wonderful everso cherished Grandchildren and of course to Aunt Renée.  RIP Carol Ann.
