It is with profound sadness that the family of Anita Pulla announces her passing on July 11, 2021, in her 64th year after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Anita passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her husband and children.
Anita was the best friend and beloved wife to her husband Gino and proud and cherished mom to Vanessa (Paul), Jessica (Don) and Jeremy (Christine). She was the loving and adoring Nana to James, Charlotte, Ethan, Scarlett, Elodie, Maeve, and Aubrey. She was the caring and supportive sister to Linda (Phil) and Nick (Franca), and she will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Ugo and Pasqua Di Camillo.
Anita was unfailingly cheerful, kind, dependable, and determined. She was a special person who found happiness and fulfillment in the service of others. She was always there to offer a helping hand and she always put the needs of her loved ones above her own. She gave 100 percent of herself to everyone she was with and to everything that she did.
Anita loved the outdoors and found peace and contentment sitting on her deck on a warm day, listening to the birds sing. She enjoyed tending to her garden and taking nature walks with her family. She always found the beauty in the world around her, and she deeply appreciated the simple pleasures in life.
Anita valued family above all. Her devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren was remarkable, and they are her greatest legacy. She was an incredible presence and a beautiful influence in their lives, and her departure has left an immeasurable hole in their hearts. Her family takes some comfort in knowing that there was nothing left unsaid. They knew how much Anita loved them, and Anita knew how much her family loved her. She will be deeply missed and so lovingly remembered.
A private family service will be held Friday July 16th. Livestream of the service can be viewed by using this link: https://funeraweb.tv/en/diffusions/33091.
A celebration of life for Anita will be held at a future date.
Donations to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
