RUTH GWENDOLYN SEXTON SAMPIER

On Sunday morning, 11/18/12, at 9:00 am, mom won her battle with Alzheimer’s. She is no longer void of memory, or physically diminished; she is again whole and home free. Mom has entered the presence of the Lord where she awaits the arrival of the rest of her family.

She would have been 90 the day before Thanksgiving Day.

Ruth, mom, is preceded in death by her dad and mom, 3 sisters, a brother, her daughter-in-law Karen, a nephew and a host of friends; all of whom rejoice with we who survive her, that the suffering for her has ended.

She is survived by sons Pastor Gregory Sampier and Grant (Lannette). By 4 grandchildren: Stephen, Lindsey, Nicole (Vince), Stephanie (Adam) and by a great-grandson: Cade Grant, and her former daughter-in-law Cindy – always family... By 3 sisters and 2 brother and by a multitude of nieces and nephews. She is survived by the most “stand-up,” honorable, dedicated and devoted husband any woman could ever pray to be blessed with, Pastor Clifford Sampier.

She will be sorely missed in this world and a great reunion anticipated in the next.
