Robert Erso Cogar 36, passed away August 1, 2022 in his home. Robert was born in Aurora, CO. On the evening of his birth, he rushed into this world faster than anyone had imagined. Rob ended up swallowing amniotic fluid and spent the first 4 days of his life in the NICU, where he wouldn’t stop crying unless his Daddy was rubbing his feet. Rob was a very loving kid who was always playing with the big kids. Rob played Hockey and was a phenomenal player. Quick on his feet and his wrist shot was out of this world. Rob loved the Green Bay Packers, “Go Pack Go” was a text many got when his team was playing. Rob started working in the directional boring business at the age of 16 years. He knew the business well and became a Supervisor, holding that position for years. Rob and Kendra had Cole, who brought so much love into their lives. Soon after came Alyssa. Rob’s children were his world. Over the years many knew Rob for his smile, sense of humor, his laugh, his jokes and the love he gave. He loved with his whole heart. Rob often pranked his family and friends. He definitely was an ornery guy. He loved starting water fights and would giggle as he chased his mom with the water hose.
Robert is survived by Kendra Hamilton his life partner; their children, Cole and Alyssa Cogar; his parents, Marvin and Carla Cogar; sister Charlene Seib; nephews: Marvin and Noah Cogar; nieces: Savannah and Cheyenne Seib; and a host of other relatives and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his Big Brother Marvin Cogar. He will be deeply missed.
