Carol A. Welch

She was born on July 12, 1937 in Gage, Oklahoma to Evelyn Bobbitt and Clifford Johnson. She was raised by her grandparents, Fred and Ella Alexander.

She married Randall Rempel in 1956 and raised five beautiful children, two boys and three girls. She was dedicated to her children in all aspects of their lives.

Carol was widowed by her second husband, Al Welch in 1991 after five years of marriage.

Carol had many passions in life. Number one being her faith, followed closely by her family, love for gardening, cooking and nature. She was incredibly artistic and had a natural skill for creating something out of anything. There wasn’t anything that she couldn’t create.

Anyone who knew her would describe her as the type of person that would give her last dollar or shirt off her back to help someone else in need. She was selfless, compassionate, honest and always found ways to be kind to others.

She was a Christian and frequently expressed her love for Jesus. She found Living Water Church in 2005 and remained a member for years before her passing.

Carol is predeceased by both of her husband’s Randall Rempel and Al Welch and is survived by her children, Debbie Carleton, Randy Rempel, Dana Rempel, Pam Granger and Trish Leet. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as her siblings Billy Johnson and Tokcha Romero.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
