Ramon A. Almodovar

Mr. Almodovar-Siso was born in Ensenada Puerto Rico, to the late Mr. Gumercindo Almodovar and Mrs. Guillermina Siso. He proudly served in the United States Army, retiring after 23 years, in addition, he was also a retired Postal worker. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, who loved the New York Yankees, Boston Celtics, and music. Mr. Ramon enriched the lives of countless others, and he was extremely popular, so much so that he “could have run for Mayor.”

Mr. Almodovar-Siso is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Elba I. Almodovar, his caring son Juan Luis Almodovar, grandchildren: Haley Almodovar, Madison Almodovar, and Isabella Almodovar as well as two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends, all of whom he cherished.

The family will be receiving guest during the Visitation on Friday, November 29, 2024, from 6:00pm-8:00pm and the Funeral Service will be on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 1:00pm; both will be held at Elliott Sons Funeral Home located at 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, GA 30909. Father Cornelius Anene of St. Joseph Catholic Church will be officiating. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta, GA 30909 immediately following the service.
