He was born in Brownsville, TX and lived in Augusta for many years. He was a member of the national HOG Chapter and the local HOG Chapter. He never met a stranger and loved to ride his motorcycle with a group. It was his therapy to be in the wind and with people.
He was employed by Trailer Train Hamburg 30 years where he worked as a fabricator.. He is survived by his wife,Denise, of 43 years, his parents, two sisters, Deborah Zamora and Melba Nichols (Tim), five nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors at Elliott and Sons Funeral home, Lumpkin Road, on Friday, Jan 27 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm.
Funeral services will be at The Church of The Most Holy Trinity on Telfair Street, Augusta. Interment will be at West View Cemetery after.
Pallbearers will be Wyman Rodgers, Chris Nichols, Shawn Alexander, Willy Overstreet, Michael Hodge, Henry Long, James Long and Billy Long.
