Winter Haven- Roy Curtis Riley, age 71, of Winter Haven, FL passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014. He was born Wednesday, April 15, 1942 in Holmes County, FL the son of Aulcie Riley and Lunar Mae (Babbs) Riley. He was a welder and member of the Assembly of God. He was a veteran of the US Army.
In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his daughter: Rowena Ballangue, brothers: Robert and earl and sisters: Catherine and Josephine. He is survived by his wife, of 47 years, Edith m. (Padgett) Riley, daughters: Suzi Mahon, Lisa Nichols, Rori Riley and Ruby Houchin, brothers: Edward, James and Jerry, sister: Evalene Zaiser, grand children: Destiny, Courtney, Chloe, Asia, Patience, Landen, Riley Philpot, Lake Philpot, Dekota, Laney, Micia, Jessie, Austin, Angie and Riley Nichols, and great grandchildren: Jason and Chandler. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
