Johnnie was a loving and devoted mother, wife, and grandmother who always put others before herself and acted as a caregiver to anyone in need.
Johnnie is survived by her loving children, Dinah Sudduth (Bruce), Cindy Smith (Johnny), Michael Atkinson, and Patricia Plemmons; sisters Frances Mitchell (James), and Marywinnie, as well as 10 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one son, Donald Atkinson.
A visitation for Johnnie will be held Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 2198 K Ville Ave, Auburndale, Florida 33823, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
Johnnie will be laid to rest at Eagle Lake Church of Christ Cemetery, Eagle Lake, Florida.
