We are sad to announce that on April 25th, 2023 we had to say goodbye to John Charles Anderson of Polk City. John was in public service for many years. He was a police officer, firefighter, worked for the Department of Corrections, and in the IGs office.
He is survived by his wife Tammy Anderson and step-daughter Amber Hathaway of Polk City, son, Michael Anderson (Arlene) of Ohio, daughter, Donna Amderson of Babson Park, three grandchildren, Ronald Edwards, Lailoni Anderson, and Justin Anderson, also six great grandchildren from Ohio, sister Cathy Hester and Ron of Florida and North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Sharon Anderson.
