Edna Tulip, a long-time resident of Davenport, FL died Monday, June 24, 2019 at Spring Lake Nursing Home surrounded by her family. Born in 1928 on the 19th of April in Lake City, Florida where her strong Pentecostal faith began.
Edna was a strong business woman known for her work ethic. She owned Edna’s Restaurant over 15 years in Davenport, FL. Prior to owning Edna’s Restaurant she owned multiple other businesses throughout the years.
She was a devoted mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and friend to many. Her contagious smile and laughter was one we will always remember.
She is survived by one of five siblings, Thelma Counts, children; John Register, Patricia Burgett, Eddie Register, and Gary Register, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 from 6-8pm. Immediate family visitation Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 1-2pm. Service will follow at 2pm. Both will be held at Ott Laughlin Funeral Home. Reception to follow at Haines City Church of God 1718 Melbourne Ave, Haines City, FL 33834.
