Dawn Margret Stover passed away on February 20, 2021. Dawn was born on May 20, 1945 in Norwich England to Donald C. Martin and D. Joan Martin. She came to the United States in 1945, residing in Niles, MI. She graduated from Niles High School in 1963 and a week later from The House of James School of Cosmetology in South Bend, IN. Dawn was a hairdresser for 55 years. She moved to Lakeland, FL in 1997. She was employed at Essentials By Brenda, before opening her own shop, Dawn’s Hair Works in 2016, where she retired in 2018.
She was preceded in death by her father Donald C. Martin, her mother D. Joan Martin, her husband Lester Stover and her daughter Kelli M. Myers. She is survived by her daughter Kim (Bill) Young of Niles, MI, her son Jim (Michelle) Hebner of Branson, MO, her sisters Deirdre (Tony) Fryatt of Haines City, FL, Penny (Gary) Shafer of Stevensville, MI, Cynthia Boyer of Haines City, FL, her grandchildren Josh (Lindsay) Ray of Kokomo, IN, Chad (Marissa) Myers of Kokomo, IN, Kelsey Myers of Kokomo, IN, Morgan Cook of Buchanan, MI, Travis Cook of Buchanan, MI and Chris Hebner of Chicago, IL, seven great grand-children and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at Patriot Plaza Veterans Cemetery, Sarasota, FL.
The family will be honoring Dawn’s life, privately.
