Carol retired in 1994 after 25 years with Prudential Insurance Company, then moved to Lakeland, FL in 1996. She was a past President and member of the BMW Motorcycle Club of Nazareth, PA (now dissolved); past board member of the Hickory Hills Manor Homeowners Association and continued as a member in good standing; past Editor of the Hickory Hills Happenings Newsletter for 14 years; member of the FMO (Federation of Manufactured Homeowners, State of Florida); member of Trinity Methodist Church, Lakeland, FL; and an avid cat lover and BINGO player!
Carol is survived by her son, Dennis (Linda) of San Jose, CA; grandson Michael of Bethlehem, PA; step-sister Louise (Brey) Schnitzer of Stuart, FL; and good friend, Jim Tidd. She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father, step-father, Kenneth Brey, and sister Marguerite (George) Whitehouse.
Interment will follow cremation at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens, Auburndale, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Polk County SPCA.
