In loving memory of Dee Thompson, 87 years old, resident of Heritage House, Buckley, WA. Passed away August 27, 2017 in Buckley.
Her family moved to the Seattle area where she graduated from Bothell High School.
She married Wes Thompson in 1948.
She worked at Overall Laundry in Seattle as a supervisor before retiring to Oak Harbor in 1982. She liked to joke that she worked at Tub 3 at the Laundry.
She was a member of Oak Harbor Methodist Church and then Whidbey Presbyterian Church. She loved singing in the choir, square dancing, collecting plates, music boxes and bells.
She is survived by her half brother, Tom (Mary Ann) Lakin; son, Ron (Carol) Thompson; daughter, Robin Thompson; grandson Frank (Elisa) Thompson; great grandsons Tristan and Jaden Thompson; nieces and nephews, along with her wonderful cousins. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wes Thompson; mother Mildred Terhaar Lakin.
Thank you to the staff at Regency and Heritage House for their loving care of her. She always said how much she appreciated how well everyone looked after her.
