She was born on May 22, 1943 in Van Buren, ME a daughter of the late Alyre & Jeanne S (Violette) Levesque. She grew up in Van Buren, attending local area schools.
Vi, worked in the local diner where she meet Gerald and after about a year they married in November of 1966 and went on to raise three children.
She spent fifteen years as a cook for the Teague Park School in Caribou. She was a fan of playing Bingo and went every chance she could. A very family orientated woman, Vi, spent much time growing and canning crops and her home in Caribou always had more than her three children around.
She is survived by her three children, Ginger A. Ketch of Durham, ME, Charles R. Ketch and his wife Kelly of Caribou and Dennis G. Ketch of Limestone, ME as well as her six grandchildren CJ, Brittney, Joey, Cory, Brenna and Raymond and a great grandson Dakota. She also leaves behind four siblings Louann Skidgel and her husband Clement, Claudia Thibodeau and her husband Jim, Alyre Levesque Jr and his wife Debbie and Germaine Levesque and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Raymond Levesque, Nelson Levesque, Vera Levesque and Marie Hartsgrove.
A celebration of life will be announced in the Spring.
