Jackson was born on December 31st, 2011, just a few hours shy of midnight. Jackson loved a party and elated his arrival so it was just in time for the new year. Jackson was a happy, vibrant, glowing child, with a love for life. He enjoyed running free any chance he had. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family and pets. What he loved most was car rides, being outside, trips to the beach and mountains, going to Disney and all family vacations. His family describes him as joyful, irreplaceable, precious, handsome, caring, soulful, and loving.
Jackson’s life was shortened too quickly from a life-long battle with Sanfilippo Syndrome. He was courageous and a relentless fighter who took on this disease with grace. He was a beautiful example of how to live in the present, and to never stop smiling when given the opportunity. Jackson will always be remembered by the light he brought to everyone’s lives and his unforgettable contagious smile.
Jackson is survived by his Mom and Dad, Hannah and Allan; his father and step-mother, Jerry and Melissa; his sisters and brother, Kaitlyn, Makayla, Addisyn, and Wyatt; many grandparents, Debbie, David, Leslee, Terri, Mark, Tami, Alan, Charles, and Sally; as well as his caring aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and teachers.
The family would like to make a heartfelt thank you to all who provided in not only Jackson’s medical care, but for everyone who enhanced his quality of life.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 18th at The Fortin Group in Auburn. Visitation hours will be from 10:00 to Noon, followed by a brief service and a reception.
