GRUENER, Arthur W., age 79, of Auburn Hills, Michigan, passed away June 1st, 2018. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 1, 1938. Arthur graduated from Rochester High School and served in the U.S. Army, where he was stationed in Fort Hood Texas. He was married to Renee C. St. Dennis. Arthur, along with his father, Albert and brother, Albert F. Gruener, owned and operated the Rochester Packing Company for 36 years. He was a member of the Sky-Masters and Romeo Sky-Hawks R.C. Clubs and the Academy of Model Aeronautics. Arthur had a passion for planes, model building and carpentry. He was a skilled man of all trades. Arthur is survived by his wife, Renee C. St. Dennis-Gruener; his children, Carl E. Gruener and Kimberly (Scott) Blomberg; his grandchildren, Olivia Gruener, Brooke Blomberg, Jack Blomberg, Elly Blomberg and Maggie Blomberg; and his nephew, Kurt (Dolores) Gruener. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 11 AM-2 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 3530 Auburn Rd., Auburn Hills, MI.
