Rose Marie Keller peacefully passed away at her home on Sunday, June 1, 2014 with her family by her side. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska on November 25, 1939. She moved to California in 1941 where she resided in Auburn, CA for many years and worked at Auburn Faith Hospital as a Dietician Aide for 11 years. She then moved to Lincoln, CA where she bought her home in 1977 and resided for the remaining years of her life. She came from a Christian background and had a strong faith in the Lord. She was a member of Lincoln Christian Life Center. She started everyday by reading one to two chapters of her bible without fail until she became too sick. She was very devoted to her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter Nicki (Fred) Robles of Susanville, Ca., grandchildren Angel (Klint) McDonald of Wheatland, Ca., Christy (John) Woldridge of Rocklin, CA, and George (Lisa) Dearing of Alturas, CA, 10 great grandchildren Jonathen Sherry, Tara Dearing, Justyn Britton, Jessica Dearing, Kaitlyn, Woldridge, Timothy Dearing, Alisia Woldridge, Chase Dearing, Jorden Dearing and Briauna Dearing; sisters Violet (Ike) Taylor of Salmon, ID and Revena Wiott of Rocklin, CA.
Rose is preceded in death by her husband George William Keller of Lincoln, parents Revena and Leroy Mayall, brothers Tex and Larry Mayall and sister Edith Graybil.
Viewing will be Monday, June 9, 2014 from 5-7pm at Chapel of the Hills, 1331 Lincoln Way, Auburn, CA. A Funeral Service will be Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 10am followed by burial at the New Auburn Cemetery. There will be a gathering of friends and family at her granddaughter’s residence in Wheatland following Tuesday’s services.
