Phillip E. Gonzales

Phillip Eugene Gonzales passed away December 11, 2013 at the age of 84 at home in Loomis, California. Phillip was born in Ventura, California November 15, 1929 to Anthony Gonzales and Juana Maria Garcia. Phillip grew up in Ventura and Ojai with three step brothers, one step sister and one half brother. He was an automobile mechanic for 42 years at Webber Lincoln Mercury in Ventura. He married Rose Marie Williams in 1954 and raised his family in Ventura. They had three children. The children were Rosalee Allen of Mart, Texas, Robin Gonzales of Portland, Oregon and Kathy Bees of Loomis, California. He was predeceased by Rose Marie in 1999. Phillip was an avid motorcycle and quad off-road rider. One of his favorite activities was camping and riding in Ballinger Canyon with his many, many friends. He loved working on cars and motorcycles of all types. He enjoyed traveling and seeing new places. He also loved watching WWE wrestling. He is survived by his three children and five grandchildren. His grandchildren are Jeff Richardson, Michael Richardson, Shane Reide, Shelly Harwell and Daniel Gonzales. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Phillip was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and deeply loved by his family and many friends. He will be missed by them all.
