Linda left us too soon on May 21, 2023. Linda’s intellect, quick wit and generous spirit will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Linda was born in Pensacola, Florida, and raised in Seattle, Washington with her brothers. Linda put herself through Washington State University and served as president of her sorority, Delta Gamma. While at WSU, Linda met her first husband Ron Vrlicak who is the father of her only child, Meredith. While raising Meredith as a single working mother, Linda earned her PhD in Psychology and built a successful private practice. Linda’s pleasures in life included travel to tropical places and Paris, which ranked just below spending time with her granddaughters. On a family trip to Mexico in 2009 she met the love of her life, David Bennett, whom she wedded in a beautiful beachfront ceremony in Costa Rica in 2010. Linda’s loved ones will never forget her fiery spirit, her love of animals (especially dogs) and French wines, and her talent for embellishing everyday happenings into dramatic tales. Linda was unforgettable and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Linda is survived by: her husband, David Bennett; her daughter, Meredith Bushnell; her granddaughters, Elise Bushnell and Eva Bushnell; her brothers, Ray Madsen and Alan Madsen; her nieces Kati Dawson, Sarah Koroi and Anna Madsen; and, her dogs, Luke and Channel.
…. and above all else, Linda did it her way.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.ChapeloftheHills-Auburn.com for the Madsen family.
