I met Gloria one day when she came into my Brothers shop New Life Auto Salon her smile lit up the room and her laugh oh my goodness her sense of humor was contagious she exuded life. I can't believe we wont see her pull up in her car with the wiffel balls on her roof rack she said she put them there cause it was the only thing that worked to keep her rack from whistling lol that's Gloria we will truly miss that Beautiful Lady and her n my sis in law always hugged for least 2 to 3 minutes before she would leave she believed hugs were the best thing. She loved her Husband & Children n Grandchildren & her dogs and her people at the Veterans home. Our Beautiful Gloria RIP we will meet again someday I know this for sure.
Prayers to her Husband & Entire Family while they go thru this grief of losing their Wife,Mother Grandmother Daughter,Sister,Aut etc.
Hug your loved ones and tell them you love them for tomorrow is never promised.

New Life Auto Salon

We meat Gloria and Harold about 6 years ago when she first came into New Life Auto Salon.  My staff and all of us would look forward to her positive and energetic spirit.  We would sit and chat about just about anything in life going on and happing in our lives.  We talked a lot about our dogs and she had so much love with dogs she always remembered our dogs names.  We loved her sense of humor she loved my two boys (staff) she would tease them all the time.  She would stop by to say Hi and just give me a hug.  Gloria & I both believed hugs were the best medicine in the world and we loved them. She was here in the shop on July 30, and we talked about her new apartment and how she was going to decorate it.  We just cannot believe she is gone.  She was always so full of life and energy always wanting to help when and if you needed a hand.  Harold and family our deepest condolence to you during this difficult time.  Your mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, any and all of the above we have all lost a bright shining star that will never be forgotten.  She will always be remembered and love for her bright shining spirit.

Dear Gloria, I am sure I will see you one day and when you, Joan and me sit down together to talk about old times, what a reunion that will be. You were a light in everyone's life you touched. Just knowing you was such an honor. I am truly blessed for knowing you. I love you dear, see you soon.

Years ago, one March evening it was snowing here in Cool and Gloria and I made snow angels while our husbands stood on the porch and laughed !  She will be missed by so many.

My dear Aunt Gloria, uniquely to me always as Gloria and my mom's, Anna,  youngest sister.  She was a living legend with an amazing "wonderful life." Could you imagine what the world would have been without the loving, human being, Gloria?

The number of people she aided, cared for, coached, consulted, helped, nurished, supported and taught were endless in her long bountiful life---A caregiver to many at the VA, family and friends, A teacher in Spanish and and matriarch to us all.

The void is deep without her, now, but with time we find the peace to cherish her and remember her.  May her legacy give us all the strength, energy and inspiration to live the values she held dearest.  Love you always Gloria.

Gloria was involved in my life since she and Harold moved to the Vets Home.  Harold and Gloria became a part of my husband and my life.  She was always there to offer her assistance or to take the task on by herself.  I miss her so much my heart ache.  She was a person I could depend on to get something done (usually her way).  I miss my friend and the person who became a part of my life.

I only meet Gloria a few times. Her commitment to family impressed me very much! She reminded me of a lioness protecting her pride. She will be missed! My condolences to all who knew and loved her!

Gloria's energy, optimism and love were an inspiration to me.  I never knew anyone that was more straight forward and honest and she was my rock and my mentor more than once.  She also took me to task once or twice and I am eternally grateful for having had the opportunity to love her.  My heart aches for Harold, Linda, Benita, Wade and the rest of the family as I know Gloria will be greatly missed.  Gloria: John, Megan, Molly and I will love you forever and the Chanukah lights will always be our special time for you.

A wonderful lady that we had the honor to know when we lived in Crosslake. She always had a smile on her face and a happy greeting for everyone.

I deeply miss my mother and there are no words to truly express the loss I'm feeling. She was an amazing person and well loved by many.  But there is no greater love than that of a daughter and her mother. We shared so much been through so much, yet bottom line we shared a bond no one will ever understand. I miss you each day mother but will always look to the stars and speak to you each day keeping you close at heart.

What a great lady always had a hug ready for you. I worked with Gloria at the ACE hardware store in Auburn and it was always a treat to see her with her smile and hard work. I will always have a place for her in my heart.

My mother-in-law will truly be missed and this is such a sad time for all who loved her. We exchanged many conversations, sharing stories of both our lives with lots of laughs and sometimes tears. She was extremely in love with our dogs Molly and Mattie and even though they do not look alike, being totally different breeds and color, she called them the "twins". We loved her sense of humor. My father-in-law Harold is so sad and will miss her dearly. We as his family will surround him with love, embrace him and help to carry him through his loss. As everyone said, Gloria had so much energy like no other. She was always there in taking very good care of our father Harold. She will be missed greatly.

We appreciated Gloria's generous spirit. She shared our concern regarding issues about the status of non-veteran spouse home members and supported the successful effort to to correct unequal treatment regarding fees. My heart is heavy for the grieve that Linda and her family are going through for the loss of her Mother, their Grandmother and Great Grandmother. I met Gloria and Harold once during a trip to California with Linda during the summer of 2010 and and had a great respect and admiration for them both. God will take care of her.

Harold and family my deepest condolence to you during this difficult time. I can't believe she is gone. She was always so full of life. A dynamo of energy. Always there to help anybody that needed a hand. Haven has now has a organizer that will put the angles to shame. We missed her and Harold when they left Auburn and now...

My grandma was my everything...she carried me through many trying times. My insperation, my mentor, my angel...my wind beneath my wings. Our bond will carry on forever. Gloria was like my big sister, my best friend. Her death is such a great loss, leaving a large dark hole in the universe. I miss her laugh and mischief and boundless energy, her caring and giving spirit. The almost unbearable loss is softened knowing she is free now with her precious puppies.

Harold and family my deepest condolence to you during this difficult time.  I loved my Aunt Gloria very much and will miss her smile and laugh.  She was our family historian and the last member of our fathers family. The solace that I feel is that My Tia Anna and Uncle Herman, Uncle Noel, Tia Luisa, Uncle Julio and my Dad and Mom have welcomed her to Heaven.

We have lost one of the brightest spots at The Veterans' Home.  She was the epitome of a caring, sharing individual.  There aren't enough like her in our world.

When Otto (my therapy dog) met Gloria, it was love at first sight. We both adored her for her spunk, her smile, her generosity of spirit (and dog treats) and warm hugs. I am happy to have had the opportunity to have known Gloria and will always appreciate her friendship and love of Otto. My heart goes out to Harold and the family, and I offer my sincere condolences. And to Gloria, sloppy puppy kisses and adoration forever from Otto.

Dear Gloria,
You we're an angel in our community here in Napa/Yountville. You gave so much, while still making Harold your #1 priority. We are so sad to hear of your passing. We will carry our memories near and dear. We will look after Harold and meet any needs he may have. We will miss you terribly. Thank you for all you gave!

Gloria was the hardest working and most giving person that I have ever know.  She helped me at all the entertainment events I was fortunate to bring to the Veterans Home, as well as any and every other event held here.
She will be GREATLY MISSED.
