Bill was a valued employee for HEB grocery store for 17 years. After becoming a bagger, he was quickly promoted as the warehouse truck dispatcher, for which he enjoyed doing for 17 years. In the early 80’s he earned his GED and taught high school shop and small engine repair at Samuel Clemens High School for over 20 years, inspiring generations of students. Not only would he be the one to call, and he would be excited to help.

He was a proud grandfather to Christopher, Kori, Jennifer, and Nicole, and great grandfather to Everly, Emerson, Emory, Emma, and Everett. Bill is also survived by his brother, John Albert (Johnny) and wife Bernice, stepson James Bowen, Devyn Bowen, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Albert and daughter, Deborah.
Bill will be remembered for his kindness, laugh, genuine care for others, and dedication to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
